ABOUT OUR TENANTS
Living in a HMO can be a very pleasant and happy experience, some of our tenants have moved to Peterborough for work opportunities and they find living in a shared house a great way to make new friends. Others like to keep themselves to themselves and use the house as a place to rest their head as they work long hours. Living in shared accommodation can be as sociable or private as you want it to be.
We try our best to match tenants to the right house, we know all of our tenants and what they do for work and what age they are and we do where possible try and put tenants who have similar interests together.
We carry out employment checks and credit checks as part of the application process.
We do not charge any administration fees.
ABOUT THE HOUSES
Our HMO properties house up to 6 tenants, each renting their own room or room with En-suite and sharing communal areas such as kitchens, diners, lounges and bathrooms.
All bills and Wifi (apart from tenants own TV License and mobile phone bills) are included in the rent.
Our houses are fully equipped with all appliances such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwaves, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer and some also have dishwashers.
We provide fortnightly cleaners for all the communal areas, however as a tenant you are responsible for keeping your own room/room and en-suite clean and tidy.
ABOUT LIVING IN SHARED ACCOMMODATION
For some people, this is the first time they have lived in shared accommodation and it can be quite daunting at first, however we find that it doesn’t take long for tenants in the house to settle in quickly and adjust to their new way of living. For others they may have had a similar experience when being at University or previously living in another HMO.
To make living in a shared house as pleasant as possible for all involved we ask that all tenants respect each other, clean up after themselves after using the communal WC, Bathroom and Kitchen and follow the house rules set out for each house.
